Ori Biotech – IRO Brand Video

Ori Biotech is a London and Philadelphia-based innovator in cell and gene therapy manufacturing. Powered by its cutting-edge IRO platform, Ori is on a mission to make life-saving next-generation therapies accessible to patients on a global scale.

The challenge

In an increasingly competitive and fast-evolving CGT sector, Ori Biotech needed a brand film that would showcase the beauty and science of the IRO platform in a way that created stronger engagement with prospective audiences. Existing visual content had previously been developed primarily for clinical and scientific applications, with functionality and accuracy leading the approach. While effective in technical environments, the assets lacked the atmosphere, emotion and visual distinction needed to position the product in a more aspirational, impactful and memorable way.

As a long term brand partner to Ori, KJC Creative suggested developing a more visually led brand video that could elevate the perception of the IRO while making the most of existing investment in renders and motion assets. The ambition was to create a richer and more distinctive visual experience that showcased the engineering, build quality and ease of use of the product, without feeling instructional or overly technical.

Video Storyboard Development

Our approach

Working in close partnership with the Ori team, we defined a clear creative direction that balanced the production of new renders with the enhancement of existing scenes and assets. This approach enabled the creation of a richer, more distinctive film without compromising the project’s timings or budget.

Visually, we moved away from the clinical white aesthetic to introduce a more atmospheric and emotive palette, with deeper tones, heightened contrast and sculpted lighting. This shift across all scenes brought a sense of depth, drama and sophistication, while maintaining the precision and clarity essential to the sector.

The outcome

KJC delivered a high-end 90 second brand film in HD designed for social media and wider brand awareness activity, alongside the flexibility to create additional cutdowns for future campaigns.

The project marked a first for Ori in presenting the IRO and consumables in a more aspirational and visually engaging way. The result established a new benchmark for how the brand could be represented visually, creating a more refined and confident aesthetic that the team felt proud to share across audiences and platforms.
